Built in 1890, Whinward House was a former Coaching Inn and has walled gardens for you to relax in and views of Conwy Mountain. Car parking is secure and at the rear of the gated drive. Come and go as you please during your stay. Guest rooms are tastefully furnished with kingsize comfortable quality beds. A shower en-suite,hairdryer, TV/dvd/clock radio and complementary tea trays to make your stay enjoyable. The Guest sitting room and conservatory provide a film and book library as well as Sky TV to enrich your experience of this beautiful corner of Wales.
Conwy is a World Heritage Site and adjoins Snowdonia National Park. Nearby attractions are Llandudno, Bodnant Gardens and many castles and stately homes. A wealth of sporting activities are available including a Championship Golf Course, sailing, Nature trails, hillwalks, cycling, cultural, ancient sites, Mountain railways, slate mines. Conwy itself has 2 medieval Merchants houses, the smallest house and the castle built by Edward I.
A short distance can see you in Betws y coed, LLanberis and Snowdon. Proprietors, Chris and Janis Ward are on hand to help
The Marina which is the site where the Mulberry harbours were constructed before towing south for the D day Landings is located nearby. Enjoy a drink at the pub looking over the marina and take a short walk to enjoy local uncrowded beaches.
A traditional Welsh pub is also only 2 mins walk, so many guests never drive during their stay with us.
